Moha the old man lives in Marrakesh, where he works as a wool dyer with his son, Miloud. They transport piles of wool yarn prepared for weaving carpets that are exported abroad. In an artistic and intellectual way, the director addressed the professional issues of the labor force (men, women and children) which is being brutally exploited by the handicraft sector in Morocco, and the title of the film sums up everything. A thousand hands work and only one hand benefits.
