When one of Santa (voice of Tom Baker)'s little reindeer is accidentally wrapped up as a Christmas present and delivered to a little boy, he sees him as a very special but unexpected gift. The boy builds the reindeer a home on his rooftop and throughout the year they become very close friends. But as Christmas approaches once again, the little boy realises that he may have to give his new friend back to his rightful carer...
